Cruising & Boating
Corrib Cruises have many daily sailings which depart from both Cong and Ougherard. Visit the 5th Century monastic site on Inchagoill Island (twice daily) or join in the live music on the traditional Irish cruise which sails every evening at 6.00pm.
Horse Riding
The Ashford equestrian centre is situated in the grounds of Ashford Castle and is within an easy walking distance from our hotel.
Falconry
Ireland's School of Falconry offers an unrivalled opportunity for you to fly a hawk in the spectacular grounds of Ashford Castle. No previous experience is necessary, children aged 7 year upward fly hawks with us. Under the shelter of magnificent woodlands surrounding the school, falconry can be booked whatever the weather.
The Quiet Man Museum
The Quiet Man Museum is a novel concept taken from the Oscar winning John Forde Film which will give the visitor a total Quiet Man experience as if they were actually on set.
